For the Moms

Well, I am not a mom yet but the sermon at church this week was about being a Godly woman and how for most, that means being family focused. I think that our pastor did a wonderful job of explaining the importance of being a mom and making sure that your family comes first.

The sermon was on Titus 2:3-5

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.(http://www.biblegateway.com/)

Basically our pastor did a great job of explaining how a mom cannot be replaced. I thought it was a great sermon and even though they don't have it up online yet, I would definitely listen to it when you have a chance.
